Next step in upgrading N59 at Moycullen

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The County Council is moving forward with the upgrade of the N59 approach road at Moycullen.
It’s seeking pre-qualification documents for the project which will see the widening and re-alignment of the N59 from Clydagh to Moycullen.
It’s expected that tenders will be sought during the summer, with work to begin on the project in October.
Last month 3.5 million euro was sanctioned by the Government for the Moycullen road upgrade.
Galway West T.D Seán Kyne says it’s an important step forward in upgrading the road.
