NEW SCHOOL FOR KILLIMOR PASSES PLANNING STAGE

Killimor National School has been granted planning permission for a new school building after a wait of over a decade.

It was a top priority for eight years before it was pushed back down to the bottom of the list in 2007.

Plans came back on track in February when the school was told to proceed to planning.

The new two-storey building will consist of eight classrooms including three resource training rooms and a large hall.
