NEW PRIVATE AMBULANCE SERVICE FOR GALWAY SOCIAL VENUES

A late night private ambulance service, the first of its kind in the country, will open for service in the city next month.

CARA ambulance service will offer emergency care to participating bars and nightclubs, and will operate during the hours of 9pm to 4am, seven days a week.

The unit has just completed a pilot scheme in Galway, and it’s understood twenty venues have already signed up for the potentially lifesaving service.

An information evening on the service will take place tomorrow week, that’s Wednesday September 5th in Monroes Tavern at 7pm.
