NEW ONLINE CAMPAIGN FOR CITY BYPASS LAUNCHED TODAY

A new online campaign to get public support for the Galway City Bypass will be launched today.

Galway West TD Frank Fahey is behind the campaign which will ask members of the public and business community to sign the petition on the Fianna Fail website.

Deputy Fahey says the bypass is crucial to the development and growth of Galway City and Connemara.

The project is currently before the courts over a point of interpretation on the habitats directive.
