The Galway Clinic has got the green light to build a new multi-storey car park.

The private clinic in Doughiska is building the facility to deal with a shortage in car parking spaces at the hospital.

The Galway Clinic hopes to solve the ongoing shortage of car parking with this newly approved plan to build a three-storey car park that will hold almost 600 cars.

City planners have attached 14 conditions to the planning approval.
