NEW INTERNET CABLE COULD STRENGTHEN GALWAY BUSINESS

New business opportunities could be rolled out in Galway if better broadband infrastructure were available.

That’s according to Cork TD Dara Murphy who wants the Government to examine the possibility of linking into an international cable.

He claims connecting into this express cable, which is being laid from England to America, would increase internet connectivity in Galway, Cork and Shannon.
