NEW HEALTH CARE COMPLEX FOR GLENAMADDY

Glenamaddy is to get a new healthcare centre.

The HSE has gotten the go-ahead to build a primary care centre which will provide a range of services for up to 12,000 patients in the Glenamaddy, Dunmore and Williamstown areas.

The new centre will include a doctor’s surgery, a dental treatment unit, a range of health and social services as well has mental health team.

It’s part of the HSE’s plan to build 200 such centres across the country over the coming years.
