NEW GROUP TO EXAMINE WESTSIDE YOUTH SERVICES

10,000 euro has been allocated by Galway city council for a new advisory group that will assess the need for youth facilities in Westside.

Officials from the Council, the VEC and the city development board will examine current services for young people, and determine what improvements should be put in place.

The advisory group will begin its work in a few weeks.
