New Gort tourist office to open on Friday

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A new tourist office for Gort will be officially opened on Friday.
The office has been set up by rural tourism organisation ‘The Burren Lowlands,’ and will provide a tourist information service for the area.
The premises has been donated rent-free by local businessmen, Michael and Sean Mullins.
The tourist office will be staffed by volunteers and staff from Galway Rural Development.
It’s hoped the office will open from 10am to 6pm for the duration of the tourism season.
