Burkeway Homes is set to launch a new development of 15 homes next month on the Letteragh Road in Galway.

The company recently acquired the 1.16-acre site with full planning permission for 15 houses – 10 four-bed semis; 1 five-bed semi; 2 three-bed terraced and 1 two-bed terraced house – from Dack’s Development Ltd.

Construction on the development, which will be known as ‘Breacán’, has already begun and work is scheduled for completion next summer. The properties will be launched next month.

According to a spokesperson for Burkeway: “Breacán is also within easy commuting distance to a variety of excellent schools, numerous sporting facilities and modern playgrounds. Home owners at Breacán will enjoy views of sloping green hills and rustic stone walls, all within a short commute to Galway’s bustling city centre.”

The homes were designed by architects McCauley Daye O’Connell and will boast large expanses of glazing and high ceilings, providing plenty of natural light and generous living spaces.

“The design is classical and timeless, using natural hard-wearing materials that will last a lifetime. The houses are practical and designed to provide flexible use that will adapt to family life. They have also been fitted with high levels of thermal insulation and energy-efficient heating.
