NEW DEVELOPMENT FOR DUBLIN ROAD IN THE CITY

The green light has been given for a new development at Dublin Road in the city.

An Bord Pleanála has granted planning permission to Westbar Construction Limited to build 2 shops, a restaurant, 3 offices, 12 apartments and underground parking on a site close to Bradley motors.

There was strong opposition from local residents after Westbar Construction got permission from Galway city council to go-ahead with the development.

However following an inspectors report An Bord Pleánala has decided to grant permission for the development at Dublin Road with 13 conditions attached.
