It’s emerged that the Connemara woman mysteriously killed while on US army duty in Afghanistan had feared her life was in danger

30 year old Ciara Durkin, who was from Eanach Mheain in Connemara, was found dead with a single bullet wound to the head at Bagram airbase on September 28th

It’s now emerged a male soldier put a gun to Ciara’s head three months before her death

However, the US Army says Ciara Durkin died in a non-combat related incident
