NEW CONVENT FOR SALTHILL

The Sisters of Mercy have got the go-ahead for a new Convent in the city.

Galway City Council has granted planning permission for a 2 and 3-storey convent off Rosary Lane, Taylors Hill.

It’ll consist of 43 bedrooms with communal accommodation and 43 car parking spaces.
