NEW COMMUNITY AND LEISURE CENTRES PLANNED FOR DOUGHISKA

One of the city’s biggest housing suburbs could be set for a new leisure centre, community centre and crèche.

McInerney Homes Limited has applied for planning permission to construct the three buildings on a two acre site in Doughiska.

The planned 15,000 square metre development is to be located on the Doughiska Road and will serve a wide range of local recreational needs.

The leisure centre will comprise a 25 metre pool, changing rooms, treatment rooms, gymnasium, juice bar and coffee shop.
