NEW CHURCH OF IRELAND BISHOP FOR TUAM

The Church of Ireland has appointed the Very Reverend Patrick Rooke as the new Bishop of Tuam, Killala and Achonry.

Patrick Rooke, Dean of Armagh has been chosen to succeed Richard Henderson who left for a new post in the UK in January.

The appointment was made by the House of Bishops today.
