New Bishop of Kerry worked at Galway Marriage Tribunal

The new Bishop of Kerry Father Raymond Browne worked at the Galway Marriage Regional Tribunal for 7 years

56 year old Athlone native Father Browne was a staff member at the Tribunal from July 1988 to July 1995

Father Browne is currently parish priest of Kilgefin Parish in County Roscommon in the Diocese of Elphin

He will replace Bishop William Murphy who announced his intention to retire having reached the age of 75 after 16 years as Bishop of Kerry
