NEW BILL TO HELP PROTECT GALWAY MORTGAGE HOLDERS

Galway families struggling to make mortgage repayments are set to receive some help from the government.

That’s according to Galway West TD Frank Fahey who says new measures to the mortgage interest supplement will be introduced to help struggling home owners.

The new measures include reduced rates, longer maturity dates and the rolling up of outstanding interest.
