NAVYS FIRST WOMAN CAPTAIN HANDS OVER COMMAND AT GALWAY DOCKS

The navy’s first woman captain of a ship will hand over command to a new commander in Galway Docks this morning.

Lieutenant Commander Roberta O’Brien will hand over the reins to L.E. Aisling after her two years in command, to Lieutenant Commander Martin Brett at a ceremony in the Docks at noon.
