N17 CLOSED FOLLOWING CRASH AT CORRANDRUM

The N17 Galway Tuam road is closed this afternoon following a crash in the past hour.[11am]

Emergency services and Gardaí are at the scene of a single vehicle crash close to the turn off for Corrundrum national school on the N17.

Two people have been brought to hospital from the scene although the extent of their injuries is not yet known.

Diversions are in place.
