Murder victim was four years missing
Date Published: 19-Jun-2007
Detectives investigating the murder of the 52-year-old Dublin man found in a fish freezer room last week, may now have to wait until Thursday before they can establish when he was killed.
Gardai sources indicated that the results of the post mortem examination should give a clear indication as to when 52-year-old Patrick McCormack was murdered — but they are not now expected until Thursday.
It will be Wednesday morning before Assistant State Pathologist, Dr. Michael Curtis, will be able to commence his post mortem examination of the body — no PM could take place until the body thawed out fully.
The post mortem examination will take place at the Dublin City Morgue, Marino — the body was taken there over the weekend at the request of Dr. Curtis for technical reasons.
