MURDER INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED IN GLENAMADDY

Gardaí have launched a murder investigation into the death of a Latvian man in Glenamaddy based on the results of the post mortem.

The body of 30 year old Juris Buls was found in a wooded area near the village of Creggs last Saturday.

Gardai are refusing to reveal how Mr Buls died for operational reasons

A man has been charged with withholding information but Gardai say their investigation is continuing.

At a special sitting of Tuam District court yesterday Sergejs Kraus of 12 Dudley Heights Glenamaddy was charged with withholding information and remanded in custody.

The 35 year old Latvian man will appear before the courts again tomorrow.
