MULTI-MILLION EURO ORANMORE DEVELOPMENT GETS GREEN LIGHT

The developer behind a proposed multi-million euro development in Oranmore has won his bid to have a planning refusal overturned.

An Bord Pleanála has agreed to allow James Cannon build an hotel, leisure centre and hundreds of homes in Oranhill.

In his appeal to An Bord Pleanála, James Cannon cut the number of homes from 161 to 133.

The Board told him to reduce the number by another 19 units and granted him permission to go ahead with the development.
