MOYCULLEN TO BENEFIT FROM COILLTE DEVELOPMENT

There’s good news for Moycullen residents with news that they will get 23 acres of land to develop new community facilities.

The land is part of deal agreed by Moycullen Community Development Project and Coillte, and has been over seven years in the pipeline.

Under the deal, 23 acres of land were given to Moycullen residents on condition county planners approved Coillte’s plan to build 52 homes in Kilrainey.

Moycullen Community Development Project now has a 999 year lease on the land, and plans to build a community centre, playing pitches as well as other community facilities on the land.
