MOYCULLEN MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED RAPE TO APPEAR IN COURT NEXT JULY

A Moycullen man, who is charged with the attempted rape of a woman in the city last April, will appear before the courts again next July.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with attempting to rape the woman at Forster Court, Forster Street on April 8th.

He’s further charged with falsely imprisoning the woman and with assaulting her on the same date as she was on her way to work.

He appeared before the Central Criminal Court in Dublin this week, where the judge adjourned the matter to the same court on July 5th next year.
