MOVE FORWARD FOR NEW CITY SCHOOLS

Plans for new permanent schools in Doughiska are moving forward.

BAM Building Limited has been granted planning permission consequent on the grant of outline permission for the school developments.

The project will consist of a new two-storey primary school and a new 2-3 storey post primary school with a PE Hall, play courts, car parking and bus set down areas.

A temporary primary school has been operating at Merlin Woods since last year and it’s hoped the new schools will be up and running by 2013.
