MOUNTBELLEW MASS FOR COUPLE KILLED IN SPAIN

The community of Mountbellew and Moylough is in shock at the tragic death of a relative of one of its residents.

64 year old Christine Martin and her 63 year old husband, Christopher were killed when a mudslide buried the house they were in, in Southern Spain on Monday evening.

Christine is a sister of well-known local, David Adams, from Forest View in Mountbellew town.

They had been visiting friends at a farmhouse in the Andalusian village of Rubite when the mudslide happened.

A memorial mass will be held in Mountbellew Church tomorrow evening [Fri] at 7 o’clock.
