MOUNTBELLEW DEVELOPMENTS THROWN INTO UNCERTAINTY

Future development in Mountbellew has been thrown into uncertainty following a ruling by An Bord Pleanala.

The Bord has ordered no work can take place on a housing and supermarket development until a new sewerage treatment plant is provided for the town.

But plans submitted by Galway County council some months ago still haven’t been approved by the Department of the Environment.
