More time allowed to build Athenry community centre

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Athenry Community Council has been given more time to build a community centre.

The group has been granted an extension of planning permission for the development at Knockaunglass.

The centre will have a theatre, dressing rooms, a dance studio and meeting rooms.

The planning permission will now last until August 2018.
