MORE SKELETAL REMAINS UNCOVERED DURING TUAM’S BIG DIG

Archaeologists in Tuam have so far discovered 13 skeletal remains during their excavations at Sawpit Lane near The Mall as the town’s Big Dig continues.

While the first of the skeletal remains was uncovered last week many more have been discovered since then.

Nik Bower, excavation director for the Archaeological consultants for the Big Dig, says they may uncover more skeletal remains as they continue their excavations.
