MONEY SEIZED IN GALWAY AS PART OF FUEL INVESTIGATION

More than 150-thousand litres of fuel have been seized as part of a countrywide operation tackling laundering, which included Galway and Gort searches.

Revenue and Gardai made the seizures after searches at ten filling stations, one fuel depot and two private premises in Galway, Dublin and Louth.

Around 39-thousand euro was also seized during the raids, 8 thousand of which was seized at a private home in Galway.
