MINISTER VOWS TO SUPPORT GALWAY YOUTH ORGANISATIONS

Every effort will be made to maintain funding for youth organisations in Galway in the upcoming budget.

That’s the message from Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Frances Fitzgerald, who launched a new child protection handbook in Merlin Park this afternoon.

The HSE West Child Protection and Welfare Handbook aims to support best practice in front-line child protection and is primarily focused at family services’ social work practicioners.
