MINISTER TO OPEN VALEO EXTENSION IN TUAM

Minister of State for Small Business John Perry will perform the official opening of an extension to the Valeo Plant in Tuam at noon today.

Work on the new extension has been in progress since earlier this year when Valeo announced that it planned to increase its workforce in Tuam by 100 over the next three years to approximately 550.

Valeo is a French multinational automotive system supplier, which has been recruiting software engineers from Ireland and abroad to fill the new posts.
