Minister to make announcement in Oranmore on rural transport

Public Transport Minister, Alan Kelly has chosen Oranmore to announce major changes to the Rural Transport Programme nationally.

The government programme carries out approximately 1.3 million passenger journeys per year.

Galway Bay fm News understands the changes will include the creation of new entities and specific links with the local Government structure.

The launch will take place in the Oyster Hotel, Oranmore tomorrow morning.
