MINISTER TO LAUNCH BALLYBANE COMMUNITY FORUM

Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Eamon O Cuiv, will launch the Ballybane Community Forum in the next hour.

The official launch takes place at 12 noon in the Ballybane Resource centre.

The voluntary group has been operating for nearly a year and consists of a number of community representatives.

The aim of the forum is to make Ballybane a more positive place to live.

After the launch, the minister will meet with a deputation of residents to discuss the problem of travellers who have illegally parked in the area in recent days.
