Minister rules out independent review of sale of Connemara company
Gaeltacht Minister of State, Dinny McGinley says there’s no need for an independent review of the terms of the proposed sale of the seaweed company Arramara Teo in Connemara to a Canadian group.
Minister McGinley says the Attorney General’s office is now examining the details of the proposed sale and that it will be referred back to him before the Government takes a final decision.
Seaweed harvesting is a substantial source of income on the Connemara coastline.
