Minister Quinn disappointed at Keaveney’s plans to join Fianna Fail
Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Minister for Education says he’s disappointed by his former party colleague Colm Keaveney’s decision to apply to join Fianna Fail.
Fianna Fail have confirmed the Galway East TD’s application will be discussed by the party while the move is expected to be confirmed at lunchtime today.
Mr Keaveney lost the Labour whip after voting against the Government over cuts to respite care grants last June.
Minister Ruairi Quinn says while it’s a disappointing move – it’s up to him to make his own decisions.
