MINISTER OPENS MOUNTBELLEW SCHOOL EXTENSION

Junior Minister Ciaran Cannon has officially opened a new 200 thousand euro building at a primary school in Mountbellew.

The extension to St.Mary’s national school consists of two new classrooms, one learning support room and an office.

The school was built in 1957 and now has over 160 pupils with 9 teachers.

Minister Ciaran Cannon says the new building will enable teachers to continue their excellent service to the learning needs of all students.
