MINISTER LAYS FIRST STONE FOR CARNA CHILDCARE CENTRE

The first stone will be officially laid for the building of a new crèche and childcare facilities in Carna in the Connemara Gaeltacht this evening. [7/5]

The new Community and Gaeltacht Minister Pat Carey will pay his first visit to the area to perform the ceremony in the next hour.

Efforts to build an Irish language crèche and childcare facilities have been underway in the area for the past seven years.
