Minister for Small business to launch Galway Local Enterprise Office
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Minister of State at the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, John Perry will visit the city tomorrow to launch the new Local Enterprise Office. (27/6)
The offices are being set up nationally as part of the Action Plan for Jobs which aims to support job creation across Ireland.
Galway’s Local Enterprise Office will merge the functions of the City Enterprise Board with the Local Authority Business Support Unit.
It will deliver services to start-ups and small businesses across the city and county.
A national network of 31 LEO’s is being established, with more staff, funding and and services being provided.
The Galway Local Enterprise Office will be launched by Minister John Perry at County Hall on Prospect Hill in the city at 2.30pm tomorrow.
