Minister denies plan to sell Connemara National Park
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Jimmy Deenihan says there are no plans to sell Connemara National Park or privatise its management.
There are six national parks in Ireland and the core work of the national park staff including regional management and rangers is to secure and preserve the parks.
According to the Minister, visitors to the park in Connemara and the other 5 parks can enjoy services such as catering, educational and transport.
