Michael Kitt promised better communications in future after Keaveney fiasco
Galway bay fm newsroom – Galway East TD Michael Kitt says the leader of Fianna Fáil has admitted he should should have been told sooner about Colm Keaveney’s move to the party.
Deputy Kitt raised the manner in which the move was communicated to members at a meeting of the parliamentary party earlier today.
He says Michael Martin has promised better communications regarding such matters and he’s happy that there will now be better transparency in the future.
Fianna Fail formally approved former Labour chairman and Galway East TD Colm Keaveney’s application to join the party last Tuesday.
However, Michael Kitt was only notified of the impending signing when contacted by Galway bay fm news that morning.
