MEPS PROTEST FOR LEGISLATION ON X CASE WHILE GOVERNMENT DEAL WITH FALL OUT OVER SAVITA INQUIRY

Over 50 MEPs will gather outside the European Parliament in Strasbourg later to call for Ireland to legislate for the X case.

It’s part of an International Day of Protest in the wake of the death of Savita Halapanavar.

A second evening of debate will take place in the Dáil today before TD’s vote on a Sinn Féin motion to address the issue.
