MENLOUGH PROTESTORS DEMAND TO BE PAID OUTSIDE COUNTY BUILDINGS

Protestors outside County Buildings in the city are demanding to be paid for work carried out on the Menlough Water Scheme.

The group staged a protest outside Galway County Council offices today.

The workers, who are upgrading a private group water scheme in Menlough, are still in dispute with Oliver Donlan Developments Ltd, Mullingar since last May.

The SIPTU members are claiming the firm owes them money for holiday pay and pay over Christmas.
