MEMORIAL FOR GALWAY BASED PHOTOGRAPHER WHO DIED IN KENYA

A memorial service is to be held in Salthill for a Galway-based photojournalist, who died in Kenya during the week.

33 year old Trent Keegan, was originally from New Zealand, but had been living and working in Galway for several years.

Trent Keegan worked as a freelance photographer for many local newspapers and magazines.

His body was found in a drainage trench in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi on Wednesday and local police are said to be investigating his death.

Friends and colleagues of Mr. Keegan will hold a memorial service at Salthill beach next Tuesday, June 3rd.

Those attending are asked to meet on the Prom opposite Seapoint at 9.30pm and Reverand Patrick Towers will give a short service
