MEETING TO TAKE PLACE IN BALLINASLOE ABOUT HOSPITAL FUTURE

A meeting of local councillors and public representatives will take place tomorrow [Fri Apr 23] with officials from the HSE West about the future of Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

It follows a meeting of the HSE with leaders of the three unions representing staff at the Ballinasloe Hospital earlier this week.

The meeting will take place at the hospital at 1pm tomorrow.
