MEETING OVER CEANNT STATION PROGRESS

All T.Ds in Galway West met with C.I.E this morning to discuss progress on the Ceannt Station development.

Deputy Frank Fahey says the meeting was arranged with C.I.E Chairman, John Lynch.

Deputy Fahey recently met with Mr. Lynch to discuss plans for the Oranmore station and says a Park n’ Ride facility needs to built there.

The 1 billion euro development involves the regeneration of 14 acres around the city centre site.

It’s understood another meeting will take place between the vested interests in April or May.
