MEETING ORGANISED BETWEEN HSE AND BROTHERS OF CHARITY

The HSE is to meet with the Brothers of Charity Galway to discuss proposed cuts that would result in a lack of a respite service.

The local charity cares for over a thousand patients and is facing a further two million euro cut from the HSE.

Independent Galway West T.D Noel Grealish says he has organised the meeting between the two parties to discuss how the matter can be resolved.

No specific date has been outlined for the meeting, but it’s hoped it will take place shortly.
