Medical initiative to be launched in Spiddal

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Croilíne Chois Fharrige will be officially launched at a special event in Spiddal this weekend.

The group has been established to provide local communities with the resources to respond to Sudden Cardiac Arrest quickly and effectively.

The launch will take place at Scoil Éinne in Spiddal at 11am tomorrow.

Spokesperson Paula Morrison says the service is very important for rural parts of Galway, where ambulance response times may not be quick enough.
