MAYO MAN JAILED FOR THREATENING CITY HOTEL MANAGER

A Mayo man (31) who threatened to cut a woman’s throat and drink her blood has been sentenced to four years in prison with the last two years suspended at Galway Circuit Criminal Court.

Arthur Boland of 3 Pierce Terrace, Westport, Co.Mayo, pleaded guilty to making threats to Gardai and threats that he would kill the manageress of the Salthill Hotel.
