The initial findings of a report on soil contamination levels in Fr.Burke Park in the city say it was an isolated incident.

The report, presented to councillors at last night’s city council meeting, suggested that high levels of lead, arsenic and zinc found in the soil earlier this month was a once-off.

It was feared that the findings would be similar to that of South Park which has high contamination levels in its soil.
